Security Instructions for clients
Before Entering:
- Big bags and backpacks are not allowed.
- Keep valuables secure and out of sight.
- Respect the club’s dress code and entry requirements.
- Weapons of any kind are not allowed.
- Illegal substances or recreational drugs not allowed
- Safety staff might pat down and or inspect bags.
Inside the Club:
- Follow staff and security instructions.
- Keep an eye on your drinks and belongings.
- Be mindful of your personal space and boundaries.
- Report any incidents or concerns to staff or security.
- Respect others’ pronouns, names, and identities.
- When someone is unwilling to dance, talk, accept any offerings, or be touched, they must not be forced. No means no.
- Be aware of your surroundings and trust your instincts. Do not stay in an uncomfortable situation or environment.
Emergency Procedures:
- Know the location of emergency exits and follow staff instructions.
- In case of a medical emergency, alert staff or security.
- If you witness or experience harassment, report it to staff and security.
Leaving the Club:
- Plan ahead for a safe ride home.
- Stay with friends and look out for each other.
- Be aware of your surroundings when leaving the club.

Our Zero-Tolerance Policy
Karma staff reserves the right to immediately remove and ban individuals who create an unsafe, unwelcoming atmosphere which may include, but is not limited to, body shaming, implicit/unconscious bias, bigotry, harassment, or bullying of any kind.

Recommended Attire

- Glamorous and extravagant costumes
- Comfortable shoes for dancing
Acceptable Items
- Drag attire and costumes
- Leather, latex, and fetish gear while not exposing breasts and/or genitalia
- Wigs, hats, and headpieces*
- Colorful and bold accessories
- Androgynous and gender-bending fashion
*Will be allowed at Karma’s discretion. Safety staff may ask for the momentary removal of headwear for identification purposes.
Not Permitted
To ensure the highest level of security and safety for all patrons, our policy prohibits wearing hoods, masks** and any other face-covering pieces within the premises. This measure helps our staff identify individuals and prevent potential security threats.
**Masks will only be allowed at themed parties (e.g., Masquerades, Halloween).
We also do not permit:
- Bags larger than 12″x6″x12″ and backpacks
- Hateful or discriminatory symbols or clothing
- Exposed genitalia
- Clothing with explicit language or imagery

Our events may be recorded in various media by representatives of Karma Entertainment Complex. Entering our venue and by your presence here, you consent to be photographed, filmed and otherwise recorded, and you grant Karma Entertainment Complex and its affiliates and agents the right — free of charge — to use recorded materials, including your appearance, image, voice and name, in advertising or for any other purpose whatsoever worldwide, in perpetuity.
Music Licensing Policy for DJs & Performers
As a DJ/Performer performing at Karma Entertainment Complex, it is crucial to be aware of and adhere to the music licensing regulations in place. This disclosure serves to inform you of your responsibilities regarding music selection and the potential implications of playing music that is not covered by our approved licenses.
- Approved Music Licenses: Karma Entertainment Complex holds certain licenses that allow for the public performance of specific music. These licenses cover a range of music styles and genres; however, they may not encompass every song or artist. It is your responsibility to ensure that the music you play falls within these approved licenses.
- Prohibited Music: Any music that is not covered by our existing licenses should not be played during your set. This includes, but is not limited to, unreleased tracks, music from independent labels not covered under our agreements, or any other copyrighted material that does not have appropriate permissions.
- Liability Disclaimer: Karma Entertainment Complex will not be held responsible for any copyright violations or legal repercussions arising from the playing of music that is not covered by our licenses. DJs will be solely responsible for any violations, fines, or legal actions resulting from their music selections.
- Music Selection Guidance: To assist you in ensuring compliance, we recommend:
- Consulting with the management of Karma Entertainment Complex regarding any questions about specific tracks.
- Utilizing music from approved playlists or platforms that are known to comply with licensing agreements.
- Regularly checking for updates on our licensed repertoire.
